‘Pwned paintings #2′ (2008) by Michiel van der Zanden

Born in Munich, Germany and grew up in the United States. Michael Wolf currently lives and works as an author and photographer in China, where he has been based for the past 10 years.

One of his most recent projects is ‘Tokyo Compression’. This is a series of photographs of Tokyo commuters.

Red Light Radio is an online radio station based in the Red Light District of Amsterdam. A former prostitution window is where the broadcasting takes place with daily shows of live DJ’s and performances with everything from black metal to afro beat.

Detroit has economically suffered worse than any other major American city. The current climate of recession is reflected in huge urban decay.
Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre documented this disintegration, showcasing structures that were formerly a source of civic pride, and which now stand as monuments to the city’s fall from grace.
